Karachi: Muslims in Pakistan will begin fasting tomorrow (Saturday) as Ramadan moon has been sighted in the country here on Friday.
The official announcement was made by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee met under his
chairman in Karachi for the sighting of Ramadan crescent and collecting
evidences of moon sighting.
Zonal Ruet Hilal Committees also met in their respective areas for moon sighting.
People were seen on Friday preparing for the holy month of Islamic calendar Ramadan with religious zeal.
