Samsung Galaxy S4 may have Snapdragon 600 processor

London: Keeping an eye over the heating issue in Exynos 5 processor, so far the fastest processor for mobiles, a report says Samsung could use Snapdragon 600 processor for its upcoming highly anticipated Galaxy S4.

A technology blogs says overheating problems and having no compatibility with LTE could be the compelling reason for Samsung to switch to Quad Core processor from QualComm.
“We believe Samsung’s Galaxy S4 has slipped and the Galaxy S3 has been in production a quarter longer than expected,” Piper Jaffrey’s Gus Richard.
“We believe the S4 is being delayed primarily due to power issues with the company’s eight-core Exynos Octa […] we believe the company is likely to shift more to external sources. We believe QCOM (QualComm) will pick up more of Samsung’s S4 business.”
SamMobile is of the view that in the present scenario Samsung could introduce two variants of Samsung  Galaxy S4: an LTE enabled Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 600 processor and a non-LTE variant Galaxy S4 with Exynos 5.
