BISE Lahore Matric results 2012 announced

Lahore: The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Wednesday announced results of Annual Examinations 2012 of Matric class.

According to the results, in Science Group, 98,700 candidates appeared in the exams and out of them 81,305 candidates were declared pass. The success rate is 82.38 percent.
In Humanities Group, 107,769 candidates took part in the exams and out of them 54,369 candidates were declared pass.
Earlier on Tuesday, BISE Lahore’s Chairman Muhammad Nasrullah Virk and Controller of Examinations Anwar Farooq announced the high achievers in a press conference.
Nasrullah Virk claimed that it was for the first time in history of the board that the result would be announced with zero RL (result later) cases.According to details, first position in Matric this year has been shared by two students, namely Muhammad Sarmad Waqar Hashmi of Beaconhouse School System for Boys, Canal Campus (Roll No. 79737), and Nashka Zulfiqar of Fauji Foundation High School for Girls, Sangla Hill (Roll No.9010), who both secured 1,021 marks.
The second position was grabbed by Arslan Tariq of the Government Central Model School, Lower Mall (Roll No. 89521), with 1,020 marks while Sadaf Sarfraz of the Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Girls, Shadman Colony (Roll No.12479), secured the third position with 1,019 marks.
In Science Group (Among Boys), the first position was achieved by Muhammad Sarmad Waqar Hashmi, second by Arslan Tariq while the third position was grabbed by Muhammad Talha Riaz of the Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Boys, Shadman Colony (Roll No. 94835), with 1,018 marks.
In Science Group (Among Girls), Nashka Zulfiqar secured first position, Sadaf Sarfraz second and Khaula Tariq of the Divisional Public Higher Secondary School for Girls, Model Town (Roll No. 12056), third with 1,018 marks.
In Humanities Group (Among Boys), Muhammad Aaqib Naseer (Roll No. 201959) and Hafiz Muhammad Usama (Roll No. 201960), both of the Allama Iqbal Public Boys High School, Raiwind Road, secured first and second positions with 978 and 966 marks, respectively. Hafiz Adeel Ashraf, a private candidate from Kasur (Roll No. 212918), grabbed third position with 956 marks.
In Humanities Group (Among Girls), Ayesha Aslam of the Govt Model Girls High School, Okara (Roll No. 131924), achieved first position with 970 marks. Aamina Siddique of Farooqi Girls High School, Karim Park, Ravi Road (Roll No. 142285), secured second position with 964 marks while the third position was achieved by Arooj Nasir of the City District Government Girls High School, Multan Road, (Roll No. 148696), with 960 marks.
