London: Top seed Maria Sharapova was knocked out of Wimbledon in straight sets by Germany's Sabine Lisicki.
Sharapova, who was seeking successive Grand Slam titles following her win at the French Open, lost the fourth-round match 6-4 6-3 on a chilly Court One.
Lisicki, the 15th seed, secured victory with her third match point, an ace on her second serve.
